Choose from five materials. For the paste-the-wall finishes, paste is included. You can order a material sample if you would like to see the surface before deciding.

• Non-woven. A smooth, matt finish for feature walls and whole rooms. It is hard-wearing, uses the paste-the-wall method and peels off dry without residue. Paste is included free.
• Peel & Stick. Smooth, matt and self-adhesive, with no paste required. It is repositionable, durable for everyday use and removes without damage: a useful option for renters.
• Peel & Stick Fabric. Our recommended material, selected by default. The woven fabric texture is self-adhesive, repositionable and highly durable, with bubble-free installation.
• Textured. A subtle leather-like surface, hard-wearing enough for whole rooms and feature walls. Paste the wall with the included paste.
• Premium Textured. A canvas-like surface with extra durability for premium feature walls. Paste is included for the paste-the-wall method.

A larger original gives us more detail to work with. Phone photographs work well for smaller walls. Send the original file, rather than a screenshot or a copy passed through a messaging app.

We upscale every image up to 16× before printing. The extra resolution keeps faces, edges and fine detail crisp when your photograph is enlarged to wall size, so it prints smoothly rather than pixelated. We also check the file against your wall measurements and let you know before printing if the original or the crop needs attention.

Print resolution is covered by our satisfaction guarantee: if you are not happy with the sharpness of your print, tell us and we will put it right.

The image can be cropped or scaled to fit the wall’s proportions. Consider which details you want to keep, particularly if your photograph and wall have very different shapes. The free proof helps you see the proposed crop at your chosen size.

Measure the full width and height in centimetres or metres, leaving out skirting boards and coving. For a sloping or pitched wall, use the longest and widest points.

Include doors, windows and sockets in the overall measurements; these are cut out during hanging. To cover several walls, add their widths together and order one piece. The panels arrive pre-cut and numbered so you can follow their order. Check your measurements against the whole area you want to cover, rather than measuring only the clear sections between fittings.
